Inspiration for designing hats and head-pieces can come from a wealth of sources, ranging from organic forms found in nature, to the rigid geometric structures of architecture.

Vintage and historical shapes can offer many exciting design opportunities, styles can be adapted and re-created, possibly by adding a contemporary ‘twist’.

Each hat and head-piece is uniquely created in the Oxfordshire workroom. All hats are blocked entirely by hand using traditional millinery techniques, and most of the stitching is done solely by hand.
